Developed at McMaster, Machealth offers expert, evidence-based multimedia courses.
The platform was created in 2004 by the Division of e-Learning Innovation and is provided as a free service to the health care professional community.
With McMaster University as a leader in evidence-based medicine and problem-based learning, Machealth uses the same approach. Our programs are brought to you in partnership with reputable not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions and government agencies. None of our programs are funded by the pharma industry, allowing us to keep our Conflicts of Interest to an absolute minimum.
All you need is an email address to register on Machealth and get learning. Once you've created an account, you can browse our programs to find courses that interest you.
Courses on Machealth can be completed in one, or multiple, sessions. We save your progress so you can come back and finish your course whenever is most convenient for you. You can download a certificate of participation upon course completion.
